Three forces that have influenced me are: My faith in God, My wife, who truly has inspired me,
and the inner desire to create.
My work has been influenced by studying the old masters like Rembrandt, Claude Monet, and
Sergei Bongart. Understanding the principles of painting and knowing the rules have influenced
my work as well.
Using the strategies of starting with a thumbnail sketch, value studies, preliminary water color
painting, visualizing the end result, coupled with continued study and practice has developed my
talent.
I enjoy the study of light. I take it from a dark rich color and blend it with brilliant lighter colors to
create an image I have visualized. This is very exciting and rewarding to create a lasting
impression for those who view my work., art paintings, oil paintings, oilpaintings
